Just because summer has come to an end, doesn’t mean your tanned glow has to! Personally, I haven’t used self-tanners that often in the past. I was really excited for the opportunity to try Vita Liberata Trystal self-tanning bronzing minerals powder in Sunkissed.
What IS this bronzing powder?! It’s pressed powder you apply to your face and neck after your moisturizer or liquid foundation. It becomes a part of your daily makeup routine. I only used it on my face and emphasized the amount applied to my cheekbones for a more contoured effect. Immediately, I had a nice tanned look that lasted all day.
The bronzing formula interacts with your moisturizer that should give you a subtle tan over time even when you’re makeup free. However, you must use it for at least 5 days to see any results of the self-tanner after the powder is washed off. I did notice a slight tan and a healthy fresh look I would like to keep throughout the winter. The self-tanner is advertised to last 3 – 7 days depending on how much you cleanse & exfoliate your skin. From my experience, more like 2 days, but I think it depends on skin type and tone.
Yes, I was just on vacation and you’re thinking well she has a tan from Mexico. But, I never tan my face anymore. I used SPF 80 or something crazy like that, and I wore a hat the entire time. My body is darker than my face so this Vita Liberata Trystal self-tan powder is the healthy and safe way to achieve a tan. Speaking of safe, this bronzing pressed powder is alcohol, paraben, sulfate, perfume, animal, odorless, and silicone free. I love using mineral products because they’re never harsh or irritating on my skin.
Overall, after the powder application I was happy with the natural color and slight tan/glow. I recommend trying it! If you do, let me know what you think in the comments! You can purchase it easily here!
