Do you want to get the most out of your money? Be able to shop at the mall and actually stick to your budget and come out with some fabulous items? I sure do, and it IS possible to be on trend, look stylish and get what you want with just $100!
If you have been following my blog and on social media, (and I really hope you are, it’s great meeting new people) then you have noticed I love fabulous clothing without the big price tag. I try to be smart about my purchases and buy things I can style several ways. Also I look for some classic pieces that will outlast the trends.
I was recently given a prize gift card of $100 from CFMarkville and I was pleasantly surprised. Okay, I was super excited because that meant shopping spree!! I took advantage of this wonderful gift and headed to the mall!
My first thought was “where do I start?” I knew I had to check out H&M because yes, I love that store and I always find something. I scored some of my favorite things! I first found the striped long sleeved tee it’s so comfy and under $20. More stripes for me, as if I don’t already have enough! I then headed to the best section, the accessories and jewellery! I literally stood there for 15 minutes not able to decide on what to buy. I could have spent the entire gift card right there. I controlled myself and chose the 3 piece stone ring set (similar) so pretty and unique, plus they were under $8. My earring obsession continues and I found the black fringe statement pair that I knew had to be mine. They were under $15.
Let’s talk about this fringe bag!! I thought I was ready to cash out when I came across the SALE section. Yes this gorgeous bag was on sale for $20! It was a no-brainer because I had been looking for a wine colored bag. The fringe just sent it over the top. Run to your nearest H&M to grab this bag now!
My next stop was Forever 21. I feel like I live in that store, and can’t help myself LOL. I really wanted a green sweater and I’m very picky on the color. But I found one and it’s super cute. It’s a thin sweater, so when it’s chilly I will definitely add a cami underneath. I chose to buy it bigger (size M) to give it that slouchy comfy look. This sweater is under $20.
Last but not least, I found myself in Winners, another go-to store. It’s always a hunt in there, but often times very worth it. I really wanted a new plaid shirt (similar). I tried on 5 different ones and as soon as I tried the last one on I was sold. What I like is it’s not flannel. It’s super soft and feels very light. I love wearing it with the sleeves rolled up. This shirt was under $30.
Coming soon to the blog, I will reveal how I styled all of these awesome new purchases!!
What would you buy at the mall with $100?
