Going back to the classic black and white today, because well it’s a classic! What inspired this look pretty look, was the recent summer preview I attended at Jean Machine in Toronto. So many fun pieces coming out, your bank account may take a hit!
This striped skirt I have had for awhile, and have NEVER worn it! Shocked face, yes it’s true! It has been one of those items that is so cute, but I haven’t had the “right” top to pair with it, until now. Thanks to Jean Machine for providing me with this black off the shoulder top, it’s exactly what I needed.
I’m not kidding, when I saw this black top, I thought of the striped skirt immediately. When I got home I tried them on together, and an outfit was born. Doesn’t this look scream date night? Or girls night out? I still enjoy the A-line skater style skirt, it gives off a youthful vibe that we all want to hold on to! It was purchased from Forever 21, but is no longer available. This black and white skirt from Zara, is really cute and a fun alternative!
To complete the look, I added a pair of my favorite heels. I love the buckle ankle strap. I did purchase these at Winners, but check out a similar pair here. Let’s not forget the pretty tassel earrings! I do have a slight obsession with statement jewelry lol. These pair were found at Ardene, they have affordable trendy jewelry I can scoop up, when I’m in a pinch. Shop this fun alternative!
Easter is on its way, and this outfit is perfect for that special dinner at home or if you’re heading out to celebrate with family. We have a couple of family dinners planned with yummy food, and of course the Easter bunny will make an appearance!
What are you doing to celebrate?
