Top – H&M
Skirt – F21 (similar)
Choker – Hudson’s Bay
Shoes – Call it Spring
Next week is that romantic day we have all been planning for. My previous post gave you date ideas for staying at home, and I think I will be doing just that this Valentine’s Day. BUT, I was inspired to bring you a look that is absolute perfection for that date night out!
Keeping with the traditional Valentine’s colors of red and pink, was a must for me. I don’t often wear red, and it was a nice change to add this vibrant top into my wardrobe. Since spring is on the horizon, doing a floral pattern was a no-brainer. What drew me to this top was the pretty ruffles around the neckline and down the front. So much femininity in one little top. H&M can do no wrong here.
The faux leather skirt is playful and adds an edge to the look without being too much. Following along with my Valentine’s color scheme, I added the pink blush cross-body bag. I previously showcased this bag as a clutch in my post last week. It really pulls out the pale pink in the tiny flowers of the blouse.
To further accessorize, I added a pink choker that I tied in a beautiful little bow. I am my hubby’s Valentine’s present, and presents are usually decorated with a bow right?! LOL.
Lastly, a classic pump finishes off the look. The shoes aren’t the focal point of this outfit, so nude heels blend nicely and like I always say, they go with everything!
